I had never bothered with them as a fighter, and for a good couple levels on MK I didn't realize you needed Reflect to perfect block. I might just do that after I do the Altar quest! Either silence the Wyrm, or concentrate on interrupting its magick spells - attacks (and weapons) with high stagger are best.
