When I took the headers of to put on the new alluminum 4 layer gaskets, they old paper with metal around the holes just fell to pieces. WebNov 6, 2014 · My performance shop told me the following procedure: -install the gaskets. -retighten the bolts after about 5-10 heat cycles. -retighten again after about another 5-10 heat cycles.
